In this workshop, Marnie Breeker looks at how “The Fourth Circle” can assist the partner in increasing her safety and stabilization after discovery and how the coupleship can work together to build a comprehensive recovery program for the relationship.
The Three Circle Plan originated from Sex Addicts Anonymous (SAA) and has been effective for years in helping sex addicts achieve and maintain sobriety. However, in a field that continues to evolve and move from a traditional addiction/codependent model to a partner trauma model, the absence of a fourth circle is narcissistic in nature by failing to acknowledge the others impacted by the addicts recovery plan.
The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No.7435. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
