Customized training for you organization

The APSATS’s Religious Leader Training Team will tailor a four day training and four hour mentorship group to the specific needs of your organization and collaborate to determine the size, and scope of the training. Training days 1 and 2 give an overview of the APSATS MPTM model and trauma. Training days 3 and 4 provide participants with information about how the faith community or provider can apply the model in their specific faith setting or application.

In addition to the four day training, participants are invited to join two "mentorship groups" (for a total of 4 hours) where they will continue the conversation and exploration of how best to apply the BTRL training information into their unique setting or population. This is the time for students to get feedback and ideas on application of what they have learned. We offer this in a group setting to capitalize on our APSATs value of collaboration and networking. This is a vital part of any person's preparation to serve their religious community.
