About me

Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with a heart for helping women step into healing, strength, and self-worth. With a warm, compassionate presence, she creates a safe space for women to be seen and supported - wherever they may be along their journey.

Sara specialized in working with women, educators, and college students, offer a faith-sensitive, whole-person approach to emotional wellness. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Johnson University. Her clinical experience includes work at Johnson University's Counseling Center and Crossroads Mental Wellness Center in Knoxville.

With 12 years of experience as an educator in the Knox County school system, Sara understands the unique challenges faced by both teachers and students. She is also a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) through the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS), supporting women navigating the trauma of relational betrayal with empathy and expertise.

Sara believes that women deserve to feel empowered, connected, and whole. Whether you're processing life transitions, managing stress, healing from trauma, or simply seeking clarity, she is passionate about walking alongside you with encouragement and respect.

Outside of the counseling office, Sara enjoys slow mornings on the patio with her husband and their dog, good books, and meaningful time with friends. She values her Christian faith and honors the spiritual perspectives of her clients at the level they choose to explore.

The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No.7435. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
