About me

Meet Rebecca Maestas-Wasserman, LMSW, CCPS, CCPS

Licensed Mental and Behavioral Health Clinician | Certified Clinical Partner Specialist | Life Coach

As a licensed mental and behavioral health clinician in the state of New Mexico, I bring over 17 years of experience working with individuals and couples impacted by deep emotional wounds, including recovering from the trauma of betrayal. My clinical background spans in-patient treatment foster care, first responder crisis intervention, and work with severely traumatized individuals and attachment wounding.

I am an APSATS-trained Certified Clinical Partner Specialist, trained in the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) and the Early Recovery Couples Empathy Model. I also hold certification as a Life Coach through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI). These combined trainings uniquely position me to support clients recovering from complex relational and betrayal trauma, attachment wounding, ,couple restoration, and sex addiction recovery coaching with an emphasis on partner perspective and empathy building. I approach healing through a trauma-informed and attachment-centered lens, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques and the Early Recovery Couples Empathy Model to support individuals and couples in rebuilding trust and connection.

Above all, I am passionate about walking with people on the healing journey—helping them reclaim their voice, restore their sense of self, and find lasting hope and restoration after betrayal.

Walking alongside you on the journey to Becoming You.
