Monifa Ellis-Addie, LMFT, CSAT, CCPS, ADHD-CCSP—known professionally as Betrayal Coach Mo—is a dynamic therapist, author, and speaker specializing in sex addiction recovery and betrayed-partner trauma. With a clinical foundation in attachment, trauma, and sexual health, she brings a grounded, partner-sensitive lens to some of the most complex relational challenges. Monifa is the co-author of Healthy Boundaries and Surviving the Holidays, host of the Hope & Healing Chats podcast, and founder of Kaizen Perspective Coaching, where she offers practical, empowering support to individuals and couples seeking clarity after betrayal. As co-founder of PEACE Wellness Collective, she also champions culturally responsive care within BIPOC communities. Known for her engaging presence and ability to translate difficult topics into accessible insight, Betrayal Coach Mo speaks nationally on betrayal trauma, identity, and relational healing, bringing both compassion and expertise to every stage.
