About me

When you feel stretched beyond your capacity or find yourself struggling in your relationship with others, it can be hard to find joy in life. In these moments, it is overwhelming to identify where to start to shift out of survival mode and begin to embrace a life of thriving. When you take the courageous step of reaching out, I will meet you where you are, be an empathetic witness to your pain, and walk beside you in your journey of healing. Whether the circumstances of your pain are the result of less effective choices you've made or the shattering effects of others' choices, I am here to infuse hope into your story.

Having walked the road of betrayal trauma healing myself, I am intimately aware of the impact that betrayal has on the betrayed partner.  When the person you trust the most betrays you, you start to question who is safe and who you can trust—and those questions are first and foremost aimed at yourself.  Questions like “Why didn't I see it?” “Why am I not enough?” and “Why can't I make even the smallest decisions anymore?” are common in the aftermath of betrayal. Your brain is trying to make sense of something that doesn't make sense.  It is normal to feel betrayed by yourself in these moments.  Learning to trust yourself again and feel safe in your own skin is one of the hardest and most rewarding endeavors you will ever undertake.  And.  The effort you put in is yours to keep.  The future you is cheering you on!

I am a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern (LMFT-I), with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and also have specialized training to work with individuals and couples healing from infidelity and betrayal trauma through the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (APSATS) and the Early Couples Recovery Empathy Model (ERCEM), including the additional training to work through the “Help Them Heal” method of couples healing.  I am a certified Deconstructing Gaslighting Specialist (DGS) and have been trained as a Full Therapeutic Disclosure Guide.  I am also a Mindfulness Based Addiction and Trauma Therapy Scholar (MBATT-Scholar) and have found a mindfulness-based approach to be an important part of healing from both trauma and addiction.

This is your “now” but it is not your “forever.” There is so much light and hope and happiness ahead. You don't have to walk this road alone. When you make the decision to reach out, I am here to help.
