About me

*LICENSED IN UTAH & IDAHO- “Always remember: You are Braver than you believe, Stronger than you seem, Smarter than you think, and Loved more than you know.”

I bring a fierce belief in the individual strength of spirit into my sessions. With focus on safety, self-compassion, and honesty, I support clients in their journey toward health and healing.

Through trauma-informed counseling, I shine a light in the darkness for those with whom I work. I understand the inner battles that can rage and the victories achievable through healing from betrayal trauma and out-of-control sexual behavior.

I believe that honesty and accountability have healing properties that cannot be underestimated and that everyone can find that healing. I work to teach my clients to trust themselves again and that the answers they seek come from within. I have been involved with the Heart of a Woman retreat for years and sees the power in connection, laughter, and adventure.

I work with betrayal trauma, out-of-control behaviors, addictions, anxiety, depression, grief, bereavement, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder/complex post-traumatic stress disorder, religious trauma, faith transition, LGBTQ+, sex-abuse, relational distress, attachment issues, emotional regulation, stress management, mindfulness, self-compassion, and more.

I am the founder and host of the "Rise Up Restored" podcast, a non-denominational Christian podcast dedicated to sharing stories of hope, insight, and resources from real loved ones of those struggling with unwanted, out-of-control, compulsive, or addictive sexual behavior.
The podcast also features interviews with diverse professionals with hands-on experience who share knowledge and tools that support an understanding of and healing from betrayal trauma.
The podcast also features anonymous questions answered and discussions of various topics related to healing from betrayal trauma.

I am a National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) through APSATS, a member of LGBTQ Affirmative Therapists Guild of Utah.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Psychodrama, Experiential, and Somatic modalities for trauma work.
