As the co-owner and founder of Choose Recovery Services and an executive board member of APSATS, Alana Gordon is a leader in the field of betrayal trauma recovery, infidelity healing, and sex addiction treatment. As a licensed marriage and family therapist and betrayal trauma support coach, she specializes in guiding individuals and couples through the complexities of relational healing with compassion, expertise, and evidence-based care.
Alana's therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed modalities that support deep, lasting recovery.
Her extensive training includes: Brainspotting Levels 1 & 2, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS-Informed), Somatic-Focused Healing, and is a Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate.
She offers a specialized focus in supporting therapists navigating betrayal trauma, as well as working with older teens, adults, and couples seeking relational healing. Alana also facilitates customized full-disclosure sessions and individual, group, and couple intensives lasting 1, 3, or 5 days, providing immersive healing experiences tailored to each client's needs.
With a deep belief that healing is possible for those willing to engage in the process, Alana empowers clients to reconnect with their own inner wisdom, strength, and self-compassion, helping them regain balance, trust, and fulfillment in their lives.
