Richard Butler Memorial Scholarship

In 2026 we are happy to announce the reinstatement of the Richard Butler Scholar

Richard Butler was a trailblazer who impacted others in their recovery journey with humility, kindness, dedication and humor. Richard was one of APSATS’ very first male CPCs, who advocated for betrayed partners in the UK and across the globe. He was a member of the APSATS community from 2019 - until his passing in 2022.

In memory of Richard, we are proud to offer this renewed scholarship opportunity for practitioners seeking APSATS training/certification to support working with recovery clients from a betrayal trauma-informed lens.
