About me

Hi I'm Rachel - a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT), experienced mental health clinician, and Certified Clinical Partner Specialist Candidate (APSATS). I support women navigating betrayal trauma in its many forms; infidelity, compulsive sexual behaviour, repeated dishonesty, emotional abandonment, and the slow unravelling of trust that often leaves you questioning your worth, your reality, or your future.

You might be trying to keep life moving - juggling parenting, work, and everyday responsibilities - while feeling overwhelmed, unsure what's real, or simply exhausted by it all. Maybe you don't even have the words for what's happening. That's okay. Many women I work with come in not knowing where to start, only that something doesn't feel right.

It doesn't matter if you're still in the relationship or long out of it, whether it happened last week or years ago. The timeline doesn't erase the impact. If your body still tightens, if the grief or anger still surfaces, then it's still asking for care. That's what my space is here to offer: calm, non-judgemental support where your story doesn't need to be explained away or minimised. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when you feel safe enough to explore what's happened, supported enough to name what you need, and steady enough to begin living from that place again.

As an OT, I bring a unique lens that bridges trauma recovery with everyday functioning. My work is trauma-informed, paced, and tailored to your nervous system, your story, and your real life. Whether you're trying to manage big emotions, parent under pressure, get through the day without shutting down, make sense of what's happening, or just breathe more easily - I meet you there. We might focus on regulation, sleep, work stress, rebuilding boundaries, or reconnecting with a version of yourself you trust again - whatever feels most needed. And throughout it all, we'll make space to understand both addiction and trauma, because healing requires clarity, not more confusion.

You don't need to have it all figured out to begin. This work is about helping things feel more manageable - emotionally, physically, and mentally so you can find your footing again, feel more steady and clear, and reconnect with the important parts of you that may have been shaken, silenced, lost or perhaps not yet discovered.

If you're unsure whether support is right for you at this stage, that's okay. I welcome enquiries and offer informal chats to help you explore what support could look like, and whether I feel like the right fit for your needs. You can reach out to me via my website or my Instagram or Facebook.
