The negative impact of sexual betrayal on a partner's sexual health is significant and complex. A betrayed partner can experience a loss of sexual desire, develop body image issues, be given an incurable sexual disease, and develop sexual disorders such as Vaginismus or Dyspernia which adds to their feelings of shame and anger. Dr. Hollenbeck is going to discuss the sexual consequences a betrayed partner may experience and provide recommendations for therapeutic treatment and healing. She will also provide recommendations for establishing and maintaining healthy sexual boundaries. Dr. Crystal Hollenbeck is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, an ASSECT Certified Sex Therapist, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and APSATS Betrayal Partner Specialist. She specializes in helping individuals and couples transition from unhealthy to healthy sexuality and heal from the wounds of sexual betrayal and abuse.
