Dear APSATS Community and Supporters,

Just over ten years ago, a beacon of hope emerged for partners betrayed by sex addiction. APSATS was founded with a singular vision: to illuminate the path of healing for partners who've grappled with the profound impacts of their partner's sexual addiction or serial infidelity.

The trauma experienced by these partners is deep, real, and often misunderstood. But APSATS chose to see it, name it, and address it with the revolutionary Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM). A decade later, we remain unwavering in our mission, having held over 30 trainings and professional developments in 2022 and 2023 alone, touching lives across four continents.

In Dr. Barbara Steffens' (APSATS founding President) words, “The partner of a sex addict seeks what she cannot find: safety in an unsafe situation.” But with the MPTM training, we've strived to work with clinicians and coaches to help partners restore that safety, piece by piece.

Looking Ahead to 2024 and Beyond

Our aspirations don't halt at the decade mark. Here are a few aspects of our grand visions for the years ahead:

  • Expanding our MPTM trainings to cater to European and Asian Timezones.
  • Launching online recorded training modules, making our resources even more accessible.
  • Increased advertising and representation at conferences toward sharing our message and change for the treatment provider landscape and modalities.
  • Further awareness and tools for those in religious communities.
  • More scholarships for those needing assistance to take the necessary trainings.
  • And more!

Join Us in our Mission

Consider this not just as a call to donate but as an invitation to be part of a transformative journey of healing. Let's rally together to make APSATS the primary 501c3 gift for year-end giving. And remember, every contribution you make is 501c3 tax deductible, be it personal or for your business.

Please, share our vision and help us in restoring more lives with hope and healing.

With heartfelt gratitude,

APSATS Board of Directors
