Emily Curzon, LCSW received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work for the University of Oklahoma. She is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults. Emily has an eclectic approach focusing on client strengths and utilizing core components of cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. She counsels on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression life skills, adjustment, and crisis intervention. She is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and has experience helping adolescents and their families deal with issues of trauma and abuse. With a background in medical and geriatrics social work, Emily has a particular interest in helping adults cope with the aging process. She assists caregivers and children to aging parents in areas related to grief, life transitions, boundaries, and self-care.
